Tottenham sign Brazilian striker Richarlison

O tottenham announced, this Friday, the hiring of Brazilian striker Richarlison, who belonged to Everton, also from english league.

According to the British press, Tottenham will initially pay 50 million pounds, around R$316 million, but the club can pay up to 10 million pounds, just over R$60 million, additional in the coming years according to the athlete performance. The contract signed by the 25-year-old is valid until 2027.

Richarlison made his professional debut for America-MGin 2015. A year later, he moved to Fluminense, a club in which he played 46 matches before being sold, in 2017, to Watford, from England. The youngster joined Everton in 2018 and, in four seasons, has scored 53 goals in 152 matches.

In his social networks, the Brazilian said goodbye to Everton and thanked the club and fans a lot.

“It’s very hard to say goodbye to a place that has become my home, to fans who welcomed me as if I were one of their own and a club that treated me kindly and helped me develop a sense of community and empathy. I have is not enough to thank you. I love you!”, he published.

For the Brazilian Team, Richarlison was called up for the first time in 2018, for friendlies. Since then, his presence on the team has been frequent. The player was champion of the Copa América, played in Brazil in 2019, and of the Olympics, held in Tokyo, Japan, in 2021. The striker is one of the names quoted to compose Tite’s call-up list for the world Cuplater this year, in Qatar.
