With the teams presented, everything is ready for the Tour to begin

The Tour de France will start on July 1 and end on the 24th of the same month. This Wednesday, June 29, the team presentation in Copenhagen (Denmark). All the stages can be followed live on eitb.eus and ETB1.

Tadej Pogacar (UAE Emirates) is the current winner and top seed to revalidate the title, but Primoz Roglic (Jumbo Visma) will be his main rival. Both are compatriots, so the duel between the Slovenians is served.

Jumbo Visma, Ineos Grenadiers and UAE Emirates are the most powerful teamsbut also you have to take into account the Bora-hansgrohe. Pogacar will be the head of ranks of the UAE Emirates, Roglic of the Jumbo Visma, Ineos arrives with Geraint Thomas, Daniel Felipe Martínez and Adam Yates as leaders of the team, while the Bora bets on Aleksandr Vlasov.

Ion Izaguirre (Cophidis), Gorka Izagirre (Movistar), Imanol Erviti (Movistar) eta Jonathan Castroviejo (Ineos Grenadiers) are the four Basque cyclists who will compete in the Tour. Ion Izagirre’s objective will be to win a stage. Erviti and Gorka Izagirre will have the mission of helping their leader Enric Mas. Castroviejo will work for the three leaders of his team.

The tour has several keys. The 2022 Tour will start from Denmark and as the first three stages will take place on Danish roads, the wind can cause fans and some of the favorites lose time. The time trial and mountain stages will make the difference.
