Tuchel believes Lukaku needs ‘a spark’ to return to Chelsea

The English newspaper Daily Mail reported on Tuesday that Chelsea opened talks with Borussia Dortmund to discuss the possible signing of Erling Haaland. The London club is willing to shell out 170 million pounds (R$ 1.2 billion) for the striker, in addition to including Tammy Abraham in the negotiation.

According to the publication, the coach Thomas Tuchel would have communicated the direction that he wants to hire a striker. Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku are also options. However, negotiations with the Tottenham striker are considered difficult and the Belgian said last week that he wants to stay at Inter Milan.

The newspaper also recalls that Borussia Dortmund want to keep Haaland in their squad. However, the young Norwegian would be willing to take the “next step” in his career.

Last season, Erling Haaland participated in 41 matches with the German club. He scored 41 goals and served his teammates on 12 occasions.
