Every day from February 24, I show my teammates these shots and pictures of what is happening in our country. They do not understand how it is possible in the 21st century, admits Zinchenko.
– My friends from Manchester City are very empathetic. All British people are very worried about our country. He receives a lot of phone calls every day. I also see support every day when I go out to court. People pray for our country – adds Zinczenko.
What about Russia’s exclusion from European and international competitions? – This question can be answered very emotionally. Since Russia has crossed all borders, it is the aggressor who kills civilians. Nobody in the world can accept this position, so they are punished with all possible sanctions. We banged on every possible door so that FIFA and UEFA would punish Russian football players so that they would not sit quietly at home, silent about the war. They have such a large audience, and none of the Russians playing football professionally spoke their point of view, did not draw attention to the topic of the war, and at the same time to the necessity to stop it, Zinczenko says irritated.
What will happen next? – Ask me what will happen. I have this attitude – the victory is ours. We will never give up, we will play the earth games for Ukraine. How many people were shocked at how strong our nard is. With every second, I am more and more proud to be a Ukrainian. Earlier, the younger generation had idols of sportsmen. Now I will say that our Ukrainian Armed Forces are idols for young people and for me. They are real heroes – emphasizes Zinczenko.
