On Saturday, the second part of the individual competition of the Ski Flying World Championships in Vikersund took place. And how is the unofficial team classification of the Saturday competition?

Poland in fifth place in the team classification

Although the Slovenes won only one medal, they were by far the best in terms of teams. The top ten included a complete set of players from this country. In total, they scored 1,540.5 points, which is over 100 more than the second Norwegians, who were in the lead only of the second in Saturday’s competition.

The best of the Poles turned out to be Jakub Wolny, who finished the Saturday competition in a very good 11th place. The 12th was right behind him. The performance of the 24th was a big disappointment, with only 175 meters in the second jump. The youngest of the team, Paweł W ± sec, improved (on Friday he was the 29th, and on Saturday the 21st). The average performance was reflected in the unofficial team classification, in which the Poles were only fifth, almost 100 points behind the podium.

  4. Germany 1434.0
  5. Poland 1,343.9
  6. Finland 1172.9 *

* – on Saturday there were three, Finns and Norwegians, so the national teams of this country received an average score of 29 jumpers from Saturday – 341.8 points.

Apart from the above-mentioned countries, Japan will also take part in the team competition on Sunday, with only two jumpers on Saturday.
