The stages and profiles of the Tirreno – Adriatico 2022

The 57th edition of the Tirreno-Adriatico will be held between March 7 and 13, 2022 in Italy starting in the municipality of Lido di Camaiore and ending in the municipality of San Benedetto del Tronto over a distance of 1,131.9 kilometres.

Take a journey from the Tyrrhenian Sea coast to the Adriatic Sea coast.

THE STAGES

Stage 1, Monday March 7, Lido di Camaiore-Lido di Camaiore (CRI) (13.9 km)

Individual time trial that will dress a specialist in the field as a leader.

Stage 2, Tuesday March 8, Camaiore-Sovicille (219 km)

A stage for the fast men of the peloton if they hold up to the tacks at the end of the day. The last kilometers are practically flat.

Tyrrhenian - Adriatic

Stage 3, Wednesday March 9, Mulo-Terni (170 km)

Leg-breaking route without big ramps in the final part of the day.

Stage 4, Thursday March 10, Cascata delle Marmore-Bellante (202 km)

A stage that crosses the Apennines. A stage finish in Bellante with slopes of the order of 7% and with peaks of 11% on the Sant’Onofrio ramps.

Stage 5, Friday March 11, Sefro-Fermo (155 km)

The fifth stage is characterized by two distinct parts. The first through the Apennines to the gates of the province of Fermo and the second is more demanding with 5 walls. A climb to the finish line with a gradient of around 10%.

Stage 6, Saturday March 12, Apecchio-Carpegna (213 km)

A stage divided into two parts and the second consists of a final circuit in Cippo di Carpegna that will be repeated twice. The circuit presents a climb of 6 kilometers with slopes of up to 14%.

Stage 7, Sunday March 13, San Benedetto del Tronto-San Benedetto del Tronto (159 km)

A stage with a route of continuous ups and downs in its first part and then becomes completely flat in the last 80 km to dispute the sprint.
