Feicht entered the equipment controller cabin just after the jump and did not leave it for a long time. However, once she showed up at the door, she had tears in her eyes and the event announcer announced that she had been excluded from the competition results.
German woman disqualified for shoes. She jumped in the model of the Polish company Nagaba
Feicht had a long discussion with the controllers and even returned to the room where the hardware checks are being done, but nothing has changed in the results. The German woman gave the impression that she could not believe the reason for the disqualification – it was about illegal shoes.

Interestingly, Feicht did not wear the equipment of the German company Rass, which is usually put on by players of this team, and the shoes of the Polish manufacturer – Nagaba.
Feicht jumped in forbidden shoes? The manufacturer has a different opinion
This immediately raised the question: are these the same Nagaba shoes as at the end of January? Poles could not use them during the Olympic Games in Beijing, and now, according to the Finnish controller, they were also supposed to have them during the World Cup competition in Lahti.
– This is definitely not the model we call the “Ferrari”. We did not sell it to foreign cadres, although of course it is generally available – says Ewa Nagaba, the shoe manufacturer Sport.pl. – It would have to come to a strange situation, in which the Polish team, who had the new equipment, sold the shoes to the German jumpers. However, I suspect the reason for the disqualification is different. It does not have to be our model, which is considered illegal by the FIS. They may have been old shoes that had worn out and became undersized. The German staff could actually buy such copies, he reveals.
FIS and the German team have not yet responded to our queries regarding Feicht’s disqualification. The junior world champion was the Slovenian Nika Prevc, who was ahead of her compatriot Taja Bodlaj and Alexandra Loutitt from Canada.
