The owners of St. Petersburg bakeries complain about the jump in purchase prices and warn about the rise in the price of puffs and rolls. In a conversation with a Rosbalt correspondent, the general director of the Volkonsky bakery chain, Marina Norkina, said that raspberries with strawberries have risen in price the most.
“A kilogram of raspberries now comes out at 1,000 rubles, soon, they say, it will approach 5,000. Previously, she flew to us by plane via Moscow from Mexico. Many confectioners are now removing raspberry fillings. Turkish strawberries are also not available now, ”said Norkina.
The bakery has decided not to change the recipes for now and stick to New Zealand butter to maintain quality, but the purchase price for it has also increased.
