Bayern takes 5 to 0 of Monchengladbach and is eliminated from the German Cup

This Wednesday, the Bayern Munchen was thrashed by Borussia Monchengladbach, by 5-0, in a match valid for the 16th of the final of the German Cup. Kouadio Koné, Ramy Bensebaini (2) and Breel Embolo (2) scored the goals for Borussia-Park.

With the defeat, the Bavarian team was eliminated from the competition. Borussia, on the other hand, advanced, but they still don’t know the opponent for the next phase.

Bayern returns to the field on Saturday, at 10:30 am (GMT), when they face Union Berlin, away from home, for the Bundesliga. Gladbach hosts Bochum on Sunday at 1:30 pm.

The game – The start of the match was terrible for Bayern. In the 21st minute, Borussia, under the command of Adi Hutter, was already leading by 3-0. Koné opened the scoring on both, while Bensebaini did it on 15 and 21, to ensure the home team’s advantage in the first stage.

The visiting team, which couldn’t count on Julian Nagelsmann at the edge of the lawn, did not return well from the locker room. At six, Embolo turned the victory into a 4-0 rout. Seven minutes later, he made Borussia’s fifth and final in the game.
