Salzburg has enormous staff problems due to the coronavirus, which is still unforgettable. The Austrian club informed about the detection of as many as 15 cases of SARS-Cov-2 infection in the team. The infection on Monday was also detected in the competitor – Thomas Mueller.

This applies to both footballers and members of the training staff. It is not known how many exactly and which players have received positive tests. It is known, however, that the situation became so serious that the club had to cancel all training sessions scheduled for Wednesday. Each of the infected is in home isolation.

– After all, we are ready to train and play in the following days. However, we will be very closely monitoring the development of the situation among uninfected players and reacting appropriately – emphasized the sports director of the Austrian club Christoph Freund.
