Maja Bohosiewicz is honest about her depression. Fanki: “These words are very important”

Recently, on the occasion of the International Day of Fighting, Maja Bohosiewicz decided to publish an honest post in which she described her fight against this disease. The star admitted that for some time she could not believe her diagnosis, but she got help in time.

– When I went to another psychiatric clinic to confirm the incorrect diagnosis given to me a few weeks earlier, I was still convinced that it was not possible. That it is not possible that I am depressed and in need of treatment. In a way, I was right because my doctor said that this is not a clinical depression yet, but if I don’t start to heal, I’ll have to be scraped off the floor in a few months. It is strange that a girl who has everything, it seems, cannot sleep, ceases until dawn, wakes up terrified, thinks that everyone is conspiring against her, gets angry, cannot concentrate, problems overwhelm her, and until pouring water into the vase becomes a challenge, climbing Mount Everest and finally sobbing, falls to the ground because it will not be possible. Yes, yes – this is my story. I was afraid to seek help, I was afraid of the verdict that I needed pharmacological treatment and felt that it was the last resort. Almost six months later, I can happily say that I have come back inside my head. And order reigns there again. And the perception of the situation is rational. And although it is not fun to be sick, it is even worse to be ashamed of being sick – she wrote in the first part of the post.

Maja Bohosiewicz also appealed to other people not to be ashamed of seeking help from a specialist when they feel that something is wrong with their mental health. – Depression doesn’t choose. It is impossible to “pull yourself together” from depression, although I was convinced that seriously “everything is in your head”, if you have a problem, seek treatment from a specialist! Don’t be afraid to go to the doctors. Don’t be afraid to communicate that something is wrong. Don’t underestimate your condition. Honor your head. Do not stigmatize people by saying: heal your head. In the US, symptoms of depressive disorders are declared by 56 percent. young adults and a quarter have thoughts of suicide. These statistics make it clear that we have pandemics, pandemics of mental disorders, she concluded.

Many comments appeared under the post, in which Internet users and Internet users thanked her for this post:

It’s nice that you are sharing this story – he is also showing his boldly and I can see what it is needed! Because asking for help is strength – not weakness

A wonderful post for May. These words are very important

It’s great that people with such ranges say loudly that depression is a disease

A very important message, let it reach people and open their eyes that the help of a specialist is not a shame
