Tuktamysheva for the first time assessed the absence of the Russian team for the Olympics

Russian figure skater Elizaveta Tuktamysheva appreciated the holding of the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing. Her words are quoted by Cosmopolitan.

The athlete said that she was not upset about not being included in the Russian national team, since the competition in single figure skating is high. “There was no frustration. It is logical that girls with quadruple jumps, with good programs, went to the Games, and they performed very well, ”Tuktamysheva noted. She stressed that she had no negative emotions when watching the competition.

In women’s singles, Russia was represented by Anna Shcherbakova, Alexandra Trusova and Kamila Valieva. All three train with Eteri Tutberidze and perform quadruple jumps. At the 2022 Games, Shcherbakova became the Olympic champion, Trusova won silver, and Valieva remained in fourth place.

Tuktamysheva is the world and European champion. She also has the bronze of the continental championship and the silver of the world championship.
