The Georgian national rugby team in Ukrainian announced on Instagram the match with the Russian team as part of the European Championship.
The match will be held on February 27 at the Dynamo Arena stadium in Tbilisi, 50 percent of the spectators will be allowed to the match. Fans were invited to purchase tickets to the game and sing the national anthem together. At the same time, the post was not duplicated either in Georgian or in Russian.
On February 22, Polish Deputy Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski, who oversees security issues, proposed a boycott of international sports competitions held in Russia. He considered that this would create problems for the country.
