– Each title was emotional and important to me. What I will remember forever is the victory with Leipzig in the German Cup (May 13, 2021 – editor’s note) It was not an easy season for me. I didn’t play much because the coach believed in others. In the last five rounds and the German Cup, I really wanted to show that I have great skills and can help the team – said Piszczek in the Sport1 podcast “Die Dortmund-Woche”.

Łukasz Piszczek went to Borussia Dortmund in 2010. In the colors of this club, he won 382 matches and won two championships, three German Cups and three super cups. In the 2012/2013 season, he also played in the Champions League final, in which BVB lost 1: 2 to Bayern.
