The general manager of the Russian national hockey team, Ilya Kovalchuk, said that reserve players should receive bonuses based on the results of the Beijing Olympics. His words are available on the Match TV website.

Kovalchuk said that he would ask for the award of hockey players who did not play at the Olympics along with those who were in the application. “Those guys who were here did everything for the atmosphere in the national team. These are some of the most important people,” explained the general manager of the team.
