The Athletic and the midfielder Danny Garcia have reached an agreement to extend the contract that linked the player with the Bilbao club for two more seasons, until June 30, 2024as reported by the rojiblanca entity.
Danny Garcia sealed the agreement this midday at the Ibaigane Palace, Athletic’s headquarters, with the presence of the president, Aitor Elizegiand the sports director, Rafa Alkorta.
The midfielder from Gipuzkoa (Zumarraga, 05-24-1990) is one of the players most used by his coach, Marcelino Garcia Toral, with whom he has played 23 of the 24 matches that Athletic has played so far this season in LaLiga; likewise, he has also participated in the four matches of the Copa del Rey and in the two of the Super Cup.
