The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) condemned the decision of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) away panel to lift the temporary suspension of Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva. The decision was also condemned by the head of the US Olympic Committee, Sarah Hirshland. She urged the Olympic Movement to continue the fight for clean sport for the sake of athletes from all over the world and added that athletes have been deprived of the opportunity to compete in a fair manner.

Because it is our athletes who compete with America for the top three. For some reason, they are not disappointed, for example, in Norwegians who run with asthma,” Zhurova said.
The next possible step, according to the deputy, could be a petition from the US Anti-Doping Agency. Valieva, according to her, should not pay attention to such processes, focusing only on competitions.
