According to the results of February 11, the Russian team moved up one line in the unofficial standings of the Games. On this day, the national team’s piggy bank was replenished with one silver medal. The award was won by skier Alexander Bolshunov in the 15 km race in the classic style with a separate start. Thus, the Russian team now has two gold, four silver and six bronze medals.

The leader of the standings is still the German team, whose athletes won seven gold medals. In second place is the Norwegian team, which has six gold medals. Completing the top three are athletes from the Netherlands with five medals of the highest standard.

The Beijing Olympics will run until February 20. A total of 109 sets of medals will be played. Russia plays at the Games in a neutral status due to the sanctions of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
