There are details about the Valium drug found in the doping test

The drug found in the doping test of Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva at the Beijing Olympics is being used to treat heart problems. It is reported by “Sport-Express” with reference to its own sources.

“The banned drug found in Kamila Valieva’s sample does not improve sports performance and is used to treat cardiac problems,” the report says.

The Russian Ministry of Sports, in turn, said that it was premature to comment on publications in the media about Valieva’s dubious doping test.

Earlier, the Inside the Games portal reported that the awarding of the Russian national figure skating team, which won gold medals in the team tournament at the Beijing Olympics, was postponed due to problems with the doping test of the Russian single skater Kamila Valieva.

At the same time, it is currently unknown which substances are involved. The trial is being held in a special regime and required the involvement of lawyers, since Valieva is not yet 16 years old.
