The main intrigue of today at the Olympics is whether any of the members of the Russian figure skating team used doping or not. If so, then ours do not have “gold”. So far, there is no answer to this question.

In a not very medal-intensive day, the Russians today have only one “bronze” – Semyon Elistratov in the short track at a distance of 1500 m. And the results of the day are as follows:

Slalom, women

1. Petra Vlgova (Slovakia), 2. Katarina Linsberger (Austria), Wendy Holdener (Switzerland).

Biathlon, men

1. Vinzenz Geiger (Germany), 2. Jergen Grobak (Norway), 3. Lukas Greiderer.

board cross, women

1. Lindsey Jacobellis (USA), 2. Chloe Trapeche (France), 3. Merieta Odine (Canada).

Freestal, big air, men

1. Birk Ruud (Norway), 2. Colby Stevenson (USA), 3. Henrik Harlaut (Sweden).

Short track, men. 1500 m

1. Hwang Dae Hong (Korea), 2. Stephen Dubois (Canada), 3. Semyon Elistratov (Russia).

Sani, men. deuces

1. Wendl/Arlt (Germany), 2. Eggert/Benecken (Germany), 3. Stoy/Koller (Austria).

In the debut match of the hockey tournament, the Russian team won against Switzerland – 1:0. There was a sensation at this tournament – the Danes beat the Czechs – 2:1.

Russian curlers lost to the USA – 5:6.

Germany is currently leading the team standings with five gold and three silver medals. Russia dropped to eighth place, although it still has the most medals – 11, but only two of them are gold.
