Stoch dissatisfied with training jumps

After showing three training jumps, Stoch admitted that it was not a successful start for him with a large hill in Beijing. – I thought it would be a pleasant day. I was positive. I waited impatiently for the first big jumps. I thought it would be fun and a lot of fun, and there was more torment. This hill was very hard on me – he commented after training.

Stoch also made an attempt to point out the factors which gave him the most trouble. – I have mixed feelings because I was looking for a solution to the problem. I got tired of the invasion. The inrun is quite flat. I couldn’t find a good positioning myself. There was no good balance. This meant that there was no good energy from the threshold. There was no good rotation. I was behind the skis, not on them. It made me lose speed, he assessed.

Stoch still feels unsatisfied

The leader of the Polish team also referred to the bronze medal on the middle hill and said whether the success of his teammate would lower the pressure he felt. – Partly yes. However, I still feel unsatisfied because more could have been done. I still want more. I want my jumps to be great. Above all, I want to feel satisfied with the jumps, he concluded.

The second training session on the large hill will be held on Thursday at 11am Polish time. There will be a trial session at 10:45 on Friday, and qualifying for the 12th. The first series of the second individual ski jumping competition will start on Saturday, February 12 at 12 noon.
