The Olympians complained about the difficult psychological condition in the isolation room at the Games

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) spoke about the complaints of athletes in isolation due to positive tests for coronavirus. It is reported by “Match TV”.

Some Olympians complained of a difficult psychological condition. “We provide comprehensive support to athletes, including psychological assistance. We have a lot of doctors of various specializations. We also have a hotline for such cases,” said IOC Communications Director Mark Adams.

Chun Huang, Deputy General Director of the Pandemic Committee of the Organizing Committee of the Games, said they are in daily discussions with the IOC to help athletes in isolation. “Some of the athletes have anxiety, some have depression. The quality of our services is constantly improving,” he added.

On February 4, the Russian Biathlon Union appealed to the IOC with a complaint about food in a quarantine hotel. Earlier in social networks, Valeria Vasnetsova, who received positive tests for coronavirus, posted a photo of food and talked about health problems due to such a diet.
