The skier Adur Etxezarreta has recognized that his seventeenth place in the descent test of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics gives him “wings for the future”, and hopes to be “competitive” in his second participation in the Chinese event, this Tuesday in the super giant.
“The track has a couple of crucial points and does not let up throughout the route and I have not failed, this result gives me wings for the future”, he said in statements to the Royal Spanish Federation of Winter Sports (RFEDI) after his performance in the Chinese ski resort of Xiaohaituo Mountain.
This Tuesday, starting at 04:00 in the Basque Country, will participate in the super giant test. “In super giant I come less rolled than in descent and it may cost me more, but I think I can be competitive. So I’m going to go down with everything to do my best,” he said.
