Novak Djokoviæ breaks the silence and is surprised. He will tell about everything

The Australian Open tournament ended on Sunday, in which Novak Djokovi could not appear. The unvaccinated Serb was deported from Australia on January 16, hours before the Grand Slam event. He has not spoken on the matter since then. He only issued a brief statement in which he stated that

Announcement

Djoković seemed to have finally come to terms with being excluded from the Australian Open. Unexpectedly, after more than two weeks, he broke the silence. At the same time, this is his first public appearance in front of cameras since the beginning of the Australian turmoil. Until now, it has been limited only to statements in social media.

The leader of the ATP ranking met in Belgrade with the President of Serbia, Alexander Vucic. At a joint press conference, he said, quoted by telegraf.rs: “Please be patient, in the next 7-10 days I will provide you with all the details of what happened in Australia.”

Although Djoković has now returned to Serbia, there is still much confusion about his deportation from Melbourne. The world knew the version of the Australian side. Now Djoković is going to present his point of view. Or maybe he is trying to save an image that negatively affects his sponsorship agreements? Officially, its sponsors remain silent or maintain the will to cooperate.

What could he explain?

Since Djoković once again wishes to comment on the expulsion from Australia, he could answer a few questions in the process:

  • Why didn’t he choose to get vaccinated against COVID-19? Then there wouldn’t be the whole Melbourne story.
  • Will he decide to get vaccinated? At least that’s what his biographer, Daniel Mueksch, says.
  • Why has the best tennis player in the world questioned the idea of vaccination since the beginning of the pandemic?
  • Who from the Australian side did Djoković contact before arriving in Melbourne? Ko granted him a vaccine waiver originally? What were his conversations with the tournament director?
  • Why, despite the positive result of the test on December 16, the day after he met the journalist and photographer “L’Equipe”? The current version is: “I did not want to disappoint the journalist.” It is hard to believe.
  • Was he aware when flying to Melbourne that he might not play at the Australian Open?
  • How will he respond to the results of the BBC and Der Spiegel investigations that his covid tests have been manipulated?
  • Why did he not indicate his stay in Spain in his travel declaration to Australia?
  • Does he identify with the statements of his family members who compare him to Jesus and call him “a symbol of the poor and the oppressed”?

Djoković thanked the president

At a meeting with the President of Serbia, Novak Djoković thanked the head of state for his involvement in the matter of his stay in Melbourne. – You were under no obligation to help me, and thank you all the more for your support during the unfortunate events in Australia. I will remember this for a long time. My relationship with the Serbian people is getting stronger every day, it will last forever – said Djoković to Vucic.

He then recalled a story from Melbourne while he was in custody awaiting a court ruling on his visa. – Although I was alone in custody, I did not feel lonely, I had the support of family, friends, the whole Serb people, many well-intentioned people from around the world who personally and publicly tried to facilitate our stay in Australia, which I did not expect – he added.

Vucic also turned to. – I would like to thank you for always being with our citizens. You represent our country on the international stage. Thank you for a great fight in Australia – said the President of Serbia, then revealed what he said to the tennis player during his stay in Melbourne.

National hero

– We spoke the morning after he arrived. Then I told him: “Go back Novak. What are you doing there? Go back to Serbia.” We all hope you will overtake Federer. We did not know who to support in the Australian Open final, we supported Medvedev a bit, but you are the best in the world and it will not change for a long time – added Vucic.

Novak Djoković is treated in Serbia as a national hero. Serbs have for years rejected any critical remarks directed by experts or fans towards the tennis player. When Djoković was deported from Australia, his compatriots organized mass demonstrations in Melbourne and Belgrade.

The Serbian media also presents the expulsion in a very one-sided manner. – It is worth recalling that Novak Djoković did not start in, after almost two weeks of real torture he was deported from Melbourne by the shameful decision of the Australian government – we read on the portal telegraf.rs.
