Aubameyang reveals why he left Arsenal

Despite huge financial problems, it was one of the most active clubs in the winter transfer window. The club from Catalonia managed to carry out some very important transfers and renegotiate contracts with several players, incl. Samuel Umtiti.

In January, players such as Adama Traore and Adama Traore showed up at Camp Nou, but by far the most famous transfer was that of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Gabonese resigned from the contract with Arsenal that guaranteed him gigantic earnings and decided to move to FC Barcelona.

Aubameyang revealed the reasons for his departure from Arsenal. “I felt bad, I wasn’t happy”

On Thursday, he was officially presented at Camp Nou as a new FC Barcelona player. As he admitted, he decided to move to Catalonia because he could not communicate with Mikel Arteta.

– I think the problem was with him, with. However, I cannot reveal too many details to you. He just wasn’t happy, he wasn’t happy. I felt bad too, I wasn’t happy. Aubameyang has been an Arsenal player since January 2018. From the very beginning, he became one of the biggest stars and in the following season he won the crown of the top scorer. Recently, however, a lot has changed. There were conflicts between Gabończyk and Mikel Arteta, which resulted in the player being removed from the squad several times by the Spanish coach.

This is why Aubameyang has played just 14 Premier League games this season, scoring four goals and one assist.
