National Hockey League (NHL) Washington Capitals forward Alexander Ovechkin has tested positive for coronavirus. This is reported in Twitter commands.
Due to COVID-19 infection, the hockey player will miss the upcoming NHL regular season game against the Edmonton Oilers, as well as the League All-Star Game. Details of the condition of the 36-year-old athlete are not specified.
In the last four meetings, Ovechkin has not made effective actions. The last time the Russian scored a puck was on January 23 in a match against the Ottawa Senators.
On January 19, Canadian journalist Mike McIntyre stated that Ovechkin showed absolutely no signs of slowing down and was getting stronger in his mature athletic years. According to the journalist, this makes the Russian a miracle of nature.
