On Thursday, Mark Roberts, the head of the football police department in England, called in the Premier League officials for an urgent meeting. The subject of the debate is to work out solutions that will improve the situation in the stands. – It would be a mistake to say that we are where we were a few decades ago, but the image is certainly deteriorating. Coordinated action is needed if we do not want it to deteriorate further, said Roberts, quoted by the British media.
