It is possible that restrictions will apply in March, which will allow the stadium to be filled in 50 or 75 percent. The much smaller Dinam stadium is to give the impression of a more crowded facility and provide the Russian national team with better cheering.
What are the capacities of both stadiums? The Dinama facility can accommodate just over 26,000 fans. Luzhniki can accommodate over 80,000 fans. The change of the stadium could be beneficial for the Polish national team. At Łużniki, we would play on artificial turf, to which our team is not used to. There is natural grass at the Dinam stadium.
If the Poles defeat the Russians in Moscow, they will play against the winner of the match between Sweden and the Czech Republic in the match decisive for their promotion to the World Cup.
