The Pole has a chance in the fourth round of the tournament to face the winner of 20 Grand Slam tournaments, the Spaniard (6th ATP). He has never competed with him in an official match.
– I hope it will be successful this year and I will have a chance to compete with him. I think it would be a really nice game. Training with Rafa was quite long ago and I don’t remember the details, but Rafa makes an amazing impression on the court – added Hurkacz.
What are Hurkacz’s plans for this year? – I hope that at the end of the year I will be in the 10th ATP ranking and maybe even a little higher than the ninth place where I ended 2021 – admits the Pole.
