Star Lionel Messi took to social media on Thursday to address his recovery from Covid-19. Still away from his activities, the Argentine star spoke about the rehabilitation period.
“As you know, I had covid and I wanted to thank you for all the messages I received and say that it took longer than I thought to be well. But I’m almost recovered and I really want to get back on the pitch. I’ve been training these days to be 100%. This year, there will be very beautiful challenges,” he wrote.
The Argentine is not the only one with covid-19 at Paris Saint-Germain. The club is experiencing an outbreak of the disease and, therefore, canceled its traditional tour of the Middle East. The French team justified itself by saying that it was the best decision in the sense of “preserving the health of its squad and players”.
Still with embezzlement, PSG returns to the field next Saturday against Stade Brestois, for Ligue 1, at 17:00 (Brasília).
