Cosmic Defense. There is a new team of the week for FIFA 22

The FA Cup last weekend created a ticket to the FIFA Team of the Week for players from other leagues. Less known players, who stood out from the rest of the league in the last league round, were appreciated. As a reward, they received a special card in the Ultimate Team FIFA 22 mode.

Steel defense

Paradoxically, this week’s defense is paradoxically overshadowed by attack stars. “In form” cards were given to players such as Marquinhos, Alessandro Bastoni and Theo Hernandez. Player ratings? 89, 87 and 87 respectively.

Marquinhos in particular has a brilliant card, with pace 83 and defense 91. Theo Hernandez is also nothing to be ashamed of. His pace is as high as 96. Adding to this statistics of passing, dribbling and physicality we get one of the best cards in the game for a side defender. The French, however, had to be appreciated – in the last league match he scored two goals.

Sluggish attack

The offensive line looks much worse this week. Its main character is Andre Silva. The Portuguese is, in fact, a great striker – in the last round he scored two goals in a win against FSV Mainz. In FIFA, however, he is not a very good choice, despite the high overall rating – 86. There is pace and physicality at a low level for a striker.

In the attack, Silva is accompanied by Mikel Oyarzabal and Domenico Berardi. Although their overall marks – 87 and 86 respectively – are decent, the detailed statistics are not impressive anymore. Both wingers have the most important prices rated at a minimum of 85, but there are many better cards at this stage of the game.

FIFA Team of the Week is available to be hit in packs in Ultimate Team for the next seven days, until January 19. These are “in-form” cards awarded for the performance of footballers on real pitches in league matches. For this reason, this week there were no Premier League players who played the FA Cup last weekend.
