Salah demands Liverpool’s attitude to renew his contract

Salah hopes to renew his contract with Liverpool, which expires in June 2023. The striker is currently playing for Egypt in the Africa Cup of Nations and said the extension of the tie “is in the hands of the club”.

“I want to stay, but it’s all in Liverpool’s hands. They know what I want and I’m not asking for anything crazy. The question when asking for something is whether there is an openness to accept the request, taking into account what I have already done for the club”, declared Salah, in an interview with the magazine. GQ Sport.

In December of last year, the club’s coach, Jurgen Klopp, told Sky Sports who has been having “good talks” with the Egyptian about a new agreement. However, one of the obstacles must be the supposed reward desired by the attacker for a good performance.

Premier League top scorer Salah also highlighted his good relationship with Liverpool fans: “I have been here for five years, I know the club very well, I love the fans and the fans like me too. The club knows the situation well.”
