Napoli continues with 100% success and in the lead of the Italian Championship, with 24 points conquered. Torino has eight points, in 12th place.
The home team played more acute football in the first stage and sought Torino’s goal at various times. Even so, the visitors’ defense managed to hold the tie until halftime. There was still time for forward Insigne to waste a penalty on 26 minutes, stopping in the good defense of goalkeeper Milinkovic-Savic.
Just eleven minutes into the second half, Di Lorenzo managed to head a cross into the back of Torino’s net, but the move was revised by the VAR and canceled due to an offside. The game was very balanced, but the home team managed to threaten more. After many attempts, Napoli scored the winning goal with Victor Osimhen in the 35th minute.
