Irati Idiakez, Gold and a Silver in the World Cups of Paralympic Snowboard
The ‘Rider’ Irati idiakez conquered two medals, A gold in snowboardcross and a silver in Banked Slalomduring his participation in the world championships of Paralympic snowboarding that Big White (Canada) is hosting until Monday, March 10.
As reported on Monday by the Royal Spanish Winter Sports Federation (RFEDI), the Gipuzkoana achieved the Gold Metal on Sunday at the Cross test where I had the Policies Monica Kotzian and Anna Drobna and after having been in the qualifying batch with the second provisional time after Kotzian.
However, in the final, Idiakez was able to overcome the Central Europe to become a world champion at the individual level for the second time in his career after having achieved it in the modality of Dual Banked Slalom in the 2023 World Cups held in La Molina (Girona), and for the third time after winning with Raquel MartÃnez the title in SBX by teams in that appointment.
This second success came after the past Friday conquered the silver medal in Banked Slalom. The Gipuzkoana won Anna Drobna in her semifinal, but could not with Kotzian in the fight for gold.
