Russian skater Alexander Gallyamov made a statement in his Telegram channel after information about his injury.
Gallamov said that together with his partner Anastasia Mishina takes a break from training and performances. “The colossal load that fell on me in the season makes itself felt. At the stages of the Grand Prix, I spoke with damage to the leg, an unnecessary cut on Lake Baikal, general fatigue-all this requires recovery, ”he explained.
Earlier information appeared that the skater received a fracture of an ankle during a tournament in Lake Baikal. Before that, the athlete said that he received a cut of his finger.
Mishina and Galyamov are the main applicants for participation in qualification competitions for the 2026 Olympic Games in Italy. The couple are the current champions of Russia and the finals of the country’s Grand Prix.
