Tennis player Bublik about Sinner’s disqualification: I would be removed for four years
Kazakhstan tennis player Alexander Bublik in an interview with the BB Tennis YouTube channel ridiculed the disqualification of Italian tennis player Yannik Sinner by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
The athlete said that he would like to have the same opportunity to agree. “How? With whom? Then can we agree too? It seems to me that I would have been removed for four years, ”he asked questions.
On February 15, WADA reported that it entered into an agreement on the settlement of the Sinner case. The athlete received removal from February 9 to May 4, 2025, and WADA officially revoked the appeal to the sports arbitration court.
Sinner failed two doping tests in March 2024, but initially escaped disqualification. The Italian explained that the metabolite of clostobol in low concentrations entered his body due to the processing of the wound with spray.
