Point of view will project 60 films in its nineteenth edition

The International Documentary Film Festival of Navarra Point of view It will celebrate its nineteenth edition between February 24 and March 1, and will include the projection of 60 films in its eight venues.
Manuel Asín, who faces his latest edition at the head of the artistic direction, has highlighted how the festival is again, one more year, “a key event to meet some of the most critical and innovative proposals of the documentary film scene.”
Point of view has scheduled for this edition more than 70 sessions between projections and other related activities that will be developed in its eight venues: bulwark, Cinemas Golem, Oteiza Museum, Civivox Condestable, Civivox Mendillorri, La Ciudadela, Filmoteca de Navarra and Bar Txintxarri.
The general price of tickets is 3 euros per session, except for some that are free access.
In the official section of the festival 17 films, ten feature films and seven short films will be presented, which will opt for the five Festival Awards: Grand Prize Punto de Vista for the Best Film, Jean Vigo Award for Best Direction, Prize for Best Short Film, sponsored By EITB, special prize of the public for the best film and youth award for the best film. In addition, the international jury may grant up to 2 special mentions.
Among them is Cambiumof the filmmakers Navarras Marina Lameiro and Maddi Barber, who illustrates how a community has decided to cut down a pine forest in the Navarrese Pyrenees to recover ancient cultivation and pasture fields.

The proposal around the documentary cinema is completed with a musical program that will include concerts, DJ sessions and radio programs with live music, among which are the performances of Olaia Inziarte, Rig3l, Juárez, Edu Errea, Dayanna, Leeharvey or / Göo!
