Endrick made his debut for Real Madrid on Wednesday night in a friendly defeat to Milan in the United States. After the match, coach Carlo Ancelotti analyzed the Brazilian’s first moments at the Spanish club.
“It’s difficult to draw a conclusion. What I see is that he has something special, he can reach maximum speed in very little space and he is very skilled at getting away from the marking. These are qualities that he has. In that sense, he is a talent. It is rare to see a player with these characteristics,” he said.
The Italian coach also asked for patience from the boy and Mbappé, another reinforcement for the team for the season: “We have to adapt the new ones, but we can’t think about adapting Endrick or Mbappé in five days.”
Endrick started as a starter and was substituted at half-time, as were most of the starting 11. During his time on the pitch, the former Palmeiras player was involved in some good goal-scoring chances for Real Madrid.
Real Madrid will play two more pre-season friendlies in the United States. The first will be against Barcelona next Saturday, while the second will be against Chelsea on Tuesday.
