Tikhonov: Trump, who called the opening of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris a disgrace, is right
Four-time Olympic biathlon champion Alexander Tikhonov supported former US President Donald Trump in his opinion on the opening of the Olympics in Paris. He is quoted by RIA Novosti.
According to Tikhonov, Trump is right when he called the opening ceremony a disgrace. “There can’t be a truer opinion, because the whole world is talking about it. All transgender people are a disaster and a disgrace to the whole world,” he said, adding that it will only get worse.

Trump had earlier criticized the opening ceremony, which included a scene purportedly referencing Leonardo da Vinci’s “The Last Supper.” “Look, I’m for everybody, I’m a very open-minded person, but what they did was disgraceful,” he said.
The opening ceremony of the Olympics took place in Paris on July 26. The event caused a mixed reaction from the public, mostly negative.
