The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, is interested in holding a duel between the mixed style fighter (MMA) Alexander Emelianenko and the musician Dzhigan on the territory of the republic. The video was posted on Emelianenko’s Instagram account.
In the video, Kadyrov suggests organizing a battle of celebrities in Grozny. In the description of the video, Emelianenko indicated that “soon a loaf of butter will fall down” and noted that in Chechnya they want to see him confront Dzhigan.
Also, in the comments to the post, the former mayor of Magas (the capital of Ingushetia) Beslan Tsechoev also addressed Emelianenko. The politician promised that he would give the heavyweight a “very expensive handmade ax” for defeating the rapper.
Dzhigan should become Emelianenko’s next opponent. The athlete’s manager Azamat Bostanov said that his ward and the musician are ready to fight, but the contract for the fight has not yet been signed. The meeting was expected to take place on November 4 in Moscow.
Emelianenko is known for his performances in Pride, Rings and domestic organizations WFCA, M-1 Global and others. The heavyweight also took part in demonstration fights with celebrities: powerlifter Mikhail Koklyaev and blogger Artem Tarasov.
