Alaev and Melezhikov join the board of the Russian Premier League
The general meeting of the Russian Premier League (RPL) clubs elected the board of the organization. It was announced on the RPL website.
In total, the list included seven people: RPL President Alexander Alaev, the league’s executive director Evgeny Melezhikov, vice president and general director of Akhmat Grozny Akhmed Aidamirov, general director of CSKA Moscow Roman Babaev, general director of Dynamo Moscow Pavel Pivovarov, executive director of Zenit Maxim Pogorelov and
Rostov sports director Alexey Ryskin.
The board will work in this composition for one year. The collegial body is engaged in regulating the operational activities of the RPL and preparing proposals for the general meeting.
The 2024/2025 RPL season will start on July 20. The first match will be a meeting between Moscow’s Lokomotiv and Tolyatti’s Akron.
