Zenit goalkeeper Kerzhakov: beer factory not making a profit
Zenit goalkeeper Mikhail Kerzhakov spoke about his business – a mini-factory for the production of craft beer. His words are reported by Sport24.
Kerzhakov admitted that the business is not profitable. “We are breaking even – and that’s good. You can ask people who are involved in small and medium-sized businesses how they are now,” the footballer shared.
The goalkeeper noted that due to complicated logistics, it has become more difficult to transport raw materials, and employees’ salary demands have increased. “We understand this, and in order to be able to create the necessary conditions and prospects for people, we need to constantly develop our enterprise, monitor every detail, I hope we will succeed – we are just starting our journey,” he summed up.
Kerzhakov played 20 matches in the Russian Premier League in the season that just ended, 8 of which he kept a clean sheet. As part of Zenit, he is a six-time champion of Russia, a five-time winner of the Cup and a three-time winner of the Super Cup of the country.
