German police urge English fans to choose marijuana instead of alcohol

German police at the 2024 European Football Championship will be more loyal to those English fans who prefer drugs to alcohol. A representative of the law enforcement agencies of Gelsenkirchen, whose name was not named, reported this to the Daily Mail.

The policeman called on the British to smoke marijuana instead of drinking alcohol, as, in his opinion, this makes fans less aggressive. “If we see a group of people drinking alcohol and looking a little aggressive, and another group smoking marijuana, we will certainly look at those who are drinking,” he said.

Earlier, German police predicted an attack by about 500 Serbian fans on the English before the first match between Serbia and England in the group stage of Euro 2024. The game is scheduled for June 16 and will take place in Gelsenkirchen.

At the beginning of the year, the German Bundestag approved a bill allowing the possession for personal use of up to 25 grams of pure marijuana or hashish. In addition, you can grow up to three cannabis bushes at home for personal use. The changes took effect on April 1.
