Poles have a new favorite on Netflix. The series is a hit in 83 countries, although no one talks about it

A Spanish production recently stood out among the most popular Netflix series in Poland. The title is at the top of charts in 83 countries, although it is not talked about at all.

The first week of June in Poland is another triumph of the film “Colors of Evil: Red”. The production is still at the top in 87 countries with access to the platform. The domestic title “Too Big for Fairy Tales 2” also remains in second place, and the podium is closed by the critically acclaimed B-movie-style production “Sharks in the Seine”.

What do Poles most like to watch on Netflix?

The latest series viewership ranking in Poland also looks interesting. According to Netflix, last week the production of “Enough of Silence” conquered streaming. The title was among the top 10 most watched series in 83 countries around the world.

The Spanish production tells the story of 17-year-old Alma, who will soon graduate from high school. Greta and Nata are her two best friends. They have known each other since childhood, go to parties together and all of them have to deal with problems typical for teenagers, such as a sense of alienation, jealousy, conflicts with parents, and even toxic relationships. But when a photo appears on @Iam_colemanmiller’s profile with the caption: “This is me the day before I was raped”, normality disappears and nothing is the same as before.

The most popular Netflix series in Poland

The second place in the Netflix series top in Poland is taken by “Eric” with Benedict Cumberbatch. This is a multi-threaded title about a father who tries at all costs to find his missing son. “Abi Morgan managed to achieve the impossible. Despite the complexity and solving the main mystery halfway through the series, it remained engaging, logical and accessible to the end, but also required a lot of concentration from the viewer. The creators skillfully confuse the tropes in the production, place many clues along the way, juggle with symbolism, they contrast emotional punches with an accurate sense of humor, and in the perfect moments they reveal new cards. The structure of the production is perfectly thought out both in terms of plot development and character building. And it shatters your heart emotionally at almost every turn,” I wrote.

Geek Girl has recently closed the podium of the most popular series on Netflix in Poland. The British comedy tells the story of Harriet Manners’ life, which changes dramatically when she enters the world of fashion. Nervous agents, crazy designers, sky-high heels, a charming supermodel with a beautiful smile, and in the middle of all this confusion, a confused teenager. The production is currently conquering as many as 89 Netflix tops in countries with access to the platform.
