Fulham turned down a proposal from Bayern Munich for Portuguese midfielder João Palhinha. The information was given this Wednesday by Sky Sportsfrom England.
Palhinha is a request from Bayern’s new coach, Vincent Kompany. The team has already reached an agreement on personal terms with the 28-year-old athlete, but sees Fulham with no intention of facilitating the deal, given that the Portuguese is one of the main players in the squad.

The proposal did not have its values disclosed, but it is speculated to be the second highest value offered by a midfielder aged 28 or over – more than the 40 million euros (around R$232 million at current prices) paid by Al-Ittihad by Fabinho in 2023.
Fulham had rejected a £45 million proposal from West Ham for Palhinha in July 2023.
It’s no secret that Palhinha is one of Bayern’s desires. The player almost joined the Bavarians on the final day of the 2023 summer window after Fulham gave him permission to fly to Munich. However, the London team was unable to find a replacement in time for the player, who had to return to England, subsequently signing a new contract.
Palhinha is currently part of the Portuguese team that will compete in the European Championship. He has four years remaining on his contract at Fulham, with an option for a further extension.
