The left winger scored one of the goals in the Merengue club’s victory over Borussia Dortmund 2-0 last Saturday, at Wembley, England, in the Champions League final.
In total, Vinicius Júnior played ten games, scored six goals and provided five assists. In addition to the goal in the final, he also scored in the semi-final, against Bayern Munich, and in the round of 16, against RB Leipzig.
Due to his performance in the Champions League, Vinicius Júnior became one of the great candidates to win the Ballon d’Or and be elected the best player in the world. The striker is still competing in the Copa América for Brazil and could increase his favoritism even further.
