Bayern Munich officially presented this Thursday (30) Belgian coach Vincent Kompany, who arrives to replace German Thomas Tuchel.
“My first impressions are good. I’m very proud and very motivated. For me, the season can start today, without any problems,” said the former Belgium defender at a press conference.

Captain of Manchester City until 2019, Kompany began his coaching career at Anderlecht, the club that revealed him, and then spent time at Burnley in England. Now, he arrives at Bayern for his first opportunity at a European giant.
“It’s exciting. I’ll try not to listen to the external noise, I know how to evaluate in this context. It’s a talented team. I have the feeling that my job is to get the best out of each Bayern player,” said the coach.
“You have to train the team in the same way you are as a person. I want the team to develop using these, two traits that characterize my personality: courage when making decisions and aggressiveness in every minute of the match”, he added.
Vincent Kompany arrives at Bayern to replace Thomas Tuchel, who stepped down before the end of his contract after the club’s first titleless season in 12 years.
