EsSalud: what bonus is it?
This is the breastfeeding bonus, which is a payment that grants EsSalud to the mother of the live newborn child of a regular or agricultural insured. The main objective of this subsidy is to contribute to the care and well-being of both the mother and the newborn, thus promoting breastfeeding as a fundamental pillar in the health and development of the baby.
EsSalud recognizes the importance of this breastfeeding period for both mother and baby, providing financial support that facilitates and promotes this beneficial practice for both parties. The payment amounts to S/820.00 and is paid for each child born.
Bonus S/820.00: what requirements must you meet to obtain this bonus?
To access this benefit granted by EsSaludyou must meet the following conditions: have the right to coverage and be working at the time of the birth of the minor, who must also be registered in Reniec. Likewise, it is necessary to have three consecutive or four non-consecutive months of contributions within the six calendar months prior to the birth of the baby.
