With two goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Al-Nassr beats Al-Ittihad in the last round of Saudi Arabia

This Monday, Al-Nassr hosted Al-Ittihad for the 34th and final round of the Saudi Championship and won 4-2. The home team’s goals were scored by Cristiano Ronaldo (2), Ghareeb and Al-Nemer. Al Shamrani and Fabinho scored for the visitors.

The victory took Al-Nassr to 82 points and the team finished the competition in second place, with 14 points less than champion Al-Hilal and 17 more than Al-Ahli, third place. With the defeat, Al-Ittihad remained with 54 points, in fifth place.

Al-Nassr returns to the field this Friday, at 3pm (Brasília time). The team faces Al-Hilal, in a single game, at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, in the final of the Saudi King Cup. Al-Ittihad, in turn, ended its participation in the season.

The game – In the 48th minute of the opening stage, Al-Nassr opened the scoring. After Mohammed Al-Fatil’s throw, Cristiano Ronaldo beat the marking at speed, dominated and hit low, with his left, to score the first goal of the match.

Suwailem Abdullah, from Al-Ittihad, was sent off in the 21st minute. Cristiano Ronaldo received a legal throw and was brought down by the player, who was the last defender and received a red card.

In the 24th minute, Brozovic crossed from the right wing and found Cristiano Ronaldo, who beat the marker at the top and headed hard to increase the difference.

In the 33rd minute of the second half, Mohammed Al Mahasnah, the visiting team’s goalkeeper, lost time with the ball and brought down Al-Najei inside the area. With Cristiano Ronaldo replaced, Ghareeb took responsibility, took the penalty and extended the goal.

Al Shamrani, in the 43rd minute of the second half, took advantage of a mistake by Al-Nassr’s defense inside the area and finished low, with his right leg, to reduce it for Al-Ittihad.

In the 47th minute, Fabinho took a penalty in the middle of the goal and goalkeeper Al-Najjar saved it, but gave the rebound to the Brazilian, who didn’t waste it and scored for the visitors.

The last goal of the match came in the 50th minute of the second half, with Al-Nemer, who anticipated the scoring after Ghareeb’s cross from the right and headed strong to score Al-Nassr’s fourth of the game.
