Player Joao Rojas had bad news after Barcelona-EQU’s draw against São Paulo, at Morumbis. According to a statement from the Ecuadorian team, he suffered a fractured fibula in the duel on Thursday night.
The move occurred in the second stage of the duel that ended goalless in the Libertadores da América. Full-back Igor Vinícius made a strong tackle on the opponent near the side of the São Paulo area, who immediately fell down in pain. In the play, the São Paulo player received a yellow card and there was no VAR intervention.
